Kane a wonderful late winter day at Bygdøy.
Looking serious and concentrated for a moment!
Kane is waiting for his turn in training search and rescue, wearing the green coat he inherited from Panter - who also used to wait in it. Ponny is keeping him company while they're waiting this March Sunday in Nittedal.
Kane looks up - some bird in the sky most likely - and shows his characteristic eyes!
A more conventional head shot... but check out those eyes!
Laying still among the flowers for just long enough to get a picture taken.
My usual view of Kane.
Kane and Ponny at Backamo at the Swedish ACD specialty show, posing in proper surroundings.
And a different shot...
Kane not looking his usual walleyed self...
Send in the cows!
Kane being very rude when meeting his half sister Krill, from the Swedish kennel Red-Alert. They have the same father, Exceptonist.
Kane and half sister Krill.
These two pictures of Kane meeting a particularly lovely lady at Backamo, one of Linda's girls, shows his usual approach to ladies at the time being. He still has a lot left to learn!
June 1st on Karl Johans gate, Kane tastes his first REAL icecream, when he got his own cone. He enjoyed it immensely, going into almost a trance when he was finished - or rather, enjoying the last remnants (last pic).
Kane out in the woods, having found someone... Looks as if he moves slow, but he is fast - and I had took the picture while he was on incoming!
Our good training buddy Morten, who Kane likes to play with - and who always seems to "get lost" in the woods so Kane has to find him...
Actually a picture of Kane and me! I check with the figurant where he is - or rather, if I am in the right place! I bet Kane tries to listen in...
Relaxing after training in the short heat wave we had, of 25-38 degrees.
Out for a walk, August 3rd 2008, with friend Athena the White Shepherd, Ponny having to put in an extra effort in the company of two longer-legged companions.
Norwegian jungle! Kane and Athena takes a cold drink...
Wild-eyed Kane! His usual forest look, standing still - on command - for just a few seconds. Life is too short for standing still.
I managed to take three picture of Kane before he ran off... this is the last.
The bog in Maridalen is a favorite place for the dogs.
Forever onwards. Kane and Ponny is venturing on, while Athena the Shepherd wonders why the hurry.
Kane herding at Eidsberg for instructor Alexander Strøm, were Kane were branded "cool Cattle-Kane". Photo by Bordercollie.no
Alexander instructs me, while Kane is keeping an eager eye on the sheep - which ruled, no matter how many girls in heat there were on the sideline or working border collies present in the field.

Kane on the balancing obstacle in the working dog programme, enjoying the height!
Trying to learn patience coming off the ladder... not missing that last step

Kane and good friend Mac the power Whippet running on the beach, Kane getting to be the "rabbit"
Finally someone who enjoys digging as much as Kane, who looks as if he's going back down under to Australia with all his effort - and who told Mac that there are lots of rabbits there. Foto: Cathrine Hvalø Engebretsen

So long ago! Found this old photo that Liv took, my guess would be the little guy number 3 from the left is young Kane
Kane herding sheep at the Cappy Pruett clinic, a great photo taken by John Scharis.
Kane on the tree stub, posing in front of the Maridalsvannet.
The boys running on the winter fields in November.
This and a few more of the boys running, the prey being a squeaky toy.
Strong behinds, though a bit different in style and shape!
Ponny got to the toy first, and has to work a bit to keep it - but as always succeeds.
Ponny putting on the big, growling show for Kane to keep the toy...
Kane usually gets his "revenge" this way, by overrunning the little guy... who gets furious...
A Pointing Cattle Dog...
Kane's dreamy look has to do with a V of geese flying by in the sky, making him totally mesmerized...
Kane caught in different stages of his high pitched barking - luckily without sound!
Cattledog Pas de Deux; Kane and Brix running together at Konnerud, early December 2008
Kane had to tell Brix very kindly that he was a bit older...
Deep snow was fun....
A plowed road a bit more convinient!
Cattledog looking peaceful and a bit silly....
... then in the next second to adopt the vampire look!
Kane caught in the middle of a bark!
Cattledogs with a bit of frosting looks good!
